Working on a high profile, newly created project you will part of a business and technical team striving to achieve major ERP deliverables. As part of the portfolio transition process, your role will be responsible for business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, software modelling and design of innovative solutions to complex business problems. You will have a proven track record in developing requirements and specifications according to standard corporate templates. Liaising with a diverse group of people such as executives, managers and subject matter experts, your role is pivotal to the success of the project.

To be considered for these role, you will have the following skills/experience:
•Minimum 5+ years business analysis experience across ERP and Utilities based projects. Specific SME knowledge around COTS, Agile, Asset Management and ERP programs of work
•Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications and business processes – Use Case experience
•Experience in process re-engineering, process improvement, workflow design, and risk analysis
•Highly developed written and oral communication skills, and the ability to consult, negotiate and interact professionally with departmental staff, contractors and external stakeholders
•Demonstrated experience to map and plan business processes and business workflows to integrate new business functions and existing business operations
•Proven ability to promote organisational change, including the ability to deal positively with uncertainty and cope effectively in an environment characterised by change
•Available to commence work immediately

This role is designed for professionals seeking career advancement and the opportunity to play with the latest technologies. This position will allow you to work with a team of professionals or independently on projects. Consulting skills and technical advancements will be enhanced in this organisation.

This position is a non-ongoing engagement spanning over 3-5 years of continued project work. The project is a highly secured Defence program of work and thus, a Baseline clearance is mandatory. Our client is willing to consider Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Federal Government clearance.

To be considered for this newly created position, you will be required to have the following skills/experience:
1. Consulting and Architectural experience across a range of Data Management Systems
2. Support the client in defining their Data Management strategies
3. Develop, integrate, deliver and update the DMS and information technology architect required by the client and in accordance to their IT framework
4. Capture, analyse adn report technical performance data required by the clients KPIs and other performance measures relating to the DMS
5. Develop the policy, processes and procedures for the use of the DMS

Immediate Start for 2 x Oracle or SQL DBA(6mths Contract, ACT)

Working on a large enterprise Federal Government client, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of a major Oracle or SQL environment. You will be assisting with database, capacity, availability, storage and performance of the environment. You will ensure that all issues are resolved within SLA timeframes and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting database, capacity, availability, storage and performance teams in identifying issues and assisting with resolution
• Working with the infrastructure, storage, performance, capacity and availability teams to understand on-going projects and impacts to the system.
• Interpreting performance related data in determining the health of a system
• Ability to interpret performance data and identify areas of potential failure
• Utilise a range of tools to monitor system and application performance
• Interpreting technical documentation and understanding database environments and databases
• Assisting with change implementations and incident resolution
• Reviewing changes and their impacts to the environment
• Executing database backups and data recovery when required
• Assisting with DBMS SW implementations, upgrades and patching
• Proactively anticipate, identify and resolve issues
• Identify where performance improvement can be initiated
• Assist with performance report generation
• Utilise and enhance best practices and adopt ITIL processes when resolving issues and implementing changes.
• Update and maintain system documentation for the purpose of recovery and issue resolution

Qualifications
Essential Skill/Experience Requirements
• 5 + years Oracle or SQL DBA experience
• Current Baseline or NV1 clearance (mandatory)
• SQL or Oracle System performance tuning & recovery experience
• Strong SQL/Oracle diagnostics and debugging skills
