Immediate start for PMO Administastor (6mths + 6mths Contract ACT) $40-$50 per hour

Are you a PMO Administrator seeking a challenging engagement? Are you working for as a Project Officer within a private company or APS? Then we have a newly created position that awaits you!

This role is a unique combination of PMO and Administration. Supporting the PMO team working on a client site, your role will include:

Set expectations on resource availability with the Project Managers Ensure smooth transition for the consultants who are on and between customer engagements
Work with the Capability Lead to enhance scheduling systems and processes
Assist with induction or general administration
Minute taking and coordination of meetings
Assist with reporting and compiling data
Coordinate and facilitate project schedules
Business or Administration degree or similiar qualifications
Available to commence work immediately

To be the right person for this job, we will need you to have the following skills/experience:

3 + years PMO or Project administration experience
Defence experience will be highly regarded
Current Baseline clearance or NV1 clearance
Meet the above duty statement
Available to commence work immediately and located in Canberra
Impeccable communication skills and presentation
Core skills include: highly organised, attention to detail, ability to work in a demanding and high pressured environment, results driven and impeccable communication skills

Immediate Start for 2 x Oracle or SQL DBA(6mths Contract, ACT)

Working on a large enterprise Federal Government client, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of a major Oracle or SQL environment. You will be assisting with database, capacity, availability, storage and performance of the environment. You will ensure that all issues are resolved within SLA timeframes and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting database, capacity, availability, storage and performance teams in identifying issues and assisting with resolution
• Working with the infrastructure, storage, performance, capacity and availability teams to understand on-going projects and impacts to the system.
• Interpreting performance related data in determining the health of a system
• Ability to interpret performance data and identify areas of potential failure
• Utilise a range of tools to monitor system and application performance
• Interpreting technical documentation and understanding database environments and databases
• Assisting with change implementations and incident resolution
• Reviewing changes and their impacts to the environment
• Executing database backups and data recovery when required
• Assisting with DBMS SW implementations, upgrades and patching
• Proactively anticipate, identify and resolve issues
• Identify where performance improvement can be initiated
• Assist with performance report generation
• Utilise and enhance best practices and adopt ITIL processes when resolving issues and implementing changes.
• Update and maintain system documentation for the purpose of recovery and issue resolution

Qualifications
Essential Skill/Experience Requirements
• 5 + years Oracle or SQL DBA experience
• Current Baseline or NV1 clearance (mandatory)
• SQL or Oracle System performance tuning & recovery experience
• Strong SQL/Oracle diagnostics and debugging skills

You must be available to commence work immediately or within 2 weeks.
